The art must must reference the shows theme. Please submit one email application with images of all completed work at one time (even if you have previously shown at EESG) to email@example.com by JUNE 17, 2016. All approved artists will be notified via email by JUNE 24, 2016 with payment instructions. You will be added to the artists list once payment has been received. EESG reserves the right to reject any submitted work without explanation.
Entry fee to cover hanging and promotion is $15. Size limit 3′ X 3′ (unless otherwise approved). Gallery will handle all sales and will take a 25% commission. Prints of work submitted to the show can be sold through the East End consignment shop for the same commission. There is no limit on the amount of work you can submit for consideration.
Artist outside of Houston and surrounding areas can submit without an entry fee, but are responsible for all shipping. Must include return shipping label in parcel. Gallery will handle all sales and will take a 30% commission.
All work must be READY TO HANG. All paper or flat canvas art must be framed with either a single saw tooth hanger for lighter pieces or wired for heavier pieces. All unframed canvas/wood pieces must also have either a single saw tooth hanger for lighter pieces or wired for heavier pieces. Loose art/prints that are unframed on clips or any other type of hanging hardware not listed above will not be accepted. Frames must be secure. No Poster style frames or clip frames will be accepted. Artists with sculptures or other 3D work must provide either a shelf that extends no further than 3″-6″, or a sturdy pedestal that is no deeper then 12″. The Gallery has limited table space for smaller sculpture submissions. Should you wish to submit a sculpture to be displayed in the limited table space, please indicate same in your email application submission.
Please submit an example of your work to Cynthia Vela, Vendor Director/Co-ordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org for approval by JUNE 24, 2016. You will be notified via email of acceptance into the event by JUNE 27, 2016 along with payment, load in and load out instructions. Must be able to create some merchandise within the theme. No original art (photography/paintings, drawings, sculptures, etc) or prints will be permitted on tables. $25 vendor fee covers both opening and closing. EESG to provide 6′ table, vendor must provide floor length cloth table cover.
